    • ]]>     Although it was big buzz last week, as OpenOffice, the Open Source Microsoft Office competitor, began deployment of version 3.0 of their incredibly popular suite. It wasn’t officially launched until today, where it has brought plenty of excellent new features with it.

    Open Office 3.0 New Core Feature List

    • MAC OS X Support w/o the need for X11
    • ODF(Open Document Format) 1.2 Support
    • Office 2007 Support…FINALLY!!!….docx, .xlsx, .pptx, etc.
    • New Fresh Icons
    • Start Center – When you open a file, you are prompted with what application you want to use.
    • Impress now supports importing of tables.
