    • ]]>     There are many online and offline applications out there to do various fun things with your photos. Whether you want to strech or skew them, convert them to black and white, or blow them up into a poster. One things I haven’t seen to be very affective, is converting your images into art such as a pencil drawing or painting.

    FotoSketcher is a simple offline application that can take any of your images and convert them into various black/white and color painting and pencil drawings. Amazingly for as easy, as fast and as cheap(FREE) as FotoSketcher is, it does an incredible job.

    • ]]>     Ran across Smashing Magazine’s October calendar wallpaper(S).  They’ve provided 40 desktop wallpapers specifically themed for the month of October and all with or without the calendar included.  It’s the first time I’ve run across the website, but it looks like it could be a regular stop from now on.
