Remote Desktop/Terminal Services on the iPhone

Apple, Windows

I knew it was only a matter of time before an application was released on the iPhone. It’s a very similar $12.00 app from the new iTunes app store that nearly duplicates the power of remote desktop/terminal service communications with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003 and Server 2008.

With the proper configuration, it will allow you to remotely access and administrate your home or business PC, through the slick iPhone interface. I’m interested to hear some reviews on how it works on the slower Edge network. It’s just another sell for me on the iPhone, but let’s wait to see how the G1 works out.

I am a long time techaholic, blogger and IT administrator living in the Midwestern United States. I have been associated with computers and technology almost my entire life. The obsession started when I first set my eyes on one of the Atari Entertainment Systems and hasn't stopped since. My Dad paid $3000+ for a state of the art PC back in the day, and I have been on one almost my entire life since. It's truly an addiction that I will never give up. Along with my Tech addiction, I also enjoy scouring blogs and the web for anything that may be interesting to write about.
