Downloading YouTube videos to your PC for archiving has become popular as of late with many built-in tools for Firefox and other browsers. The problem is that after downloading them, Windows does not play them natively, and you’re then required to download a FLV player of some kind and run-it seperately from the already included Windows Media Player.
Well, along with just about every other video format in the world, where a codec can be installed to play that particular format in Windows, there is a free flash(FLV) player add-on that allows you to play videos right within your Windows Media Player. It’s called PlayFLV.
PlayFLV simply adds a plug-in to your existing Windows Media Player and allows for quick access to play your videos without the need of a third party flash player. This way saving all of your YouTube moments, and playing them back is made much easier.
