Network Administrators of large corporate sized Microsoft Environments, often find the need to have multiple Terminal Service Sessions(Remote Desktop) in order to look and compare at many different servers. Well, occupying your entire screen with a Terminal Service Session, never is a great option, as you find yourself having to minimize the screen quite often, in order to access another server. An alternative to this, is the built-in server tool, ‘Remote Desktops’. This tool does give you the ability to connect to multiple server sessions, but it’s not quite as handy as the great tabbed Remote Desktop tool, mRemote.
mRemote is a fantastic open source full featured remote access application, that saves not only RDP sessions, but VNC, Citrix and Putty. It’s an amazing application, that also includes a built-in screen caputring add-on. If you watch over many servers or workstation and would like an easy to use tabbed application to manage them, this is the program for you. Below is a screenshot and a download link.
