I am a long time techaholic, blogger and IT administrator living in the Midwestern United States. I have been associated with computers and technology almost my entire life. The obsession started when I first set my eyes on one of the Atari Entertainment Systems and hasn't stopped since.
My Dad paid $3000+ for a state of the art PC back in the day, and I have been on one almost my entire life since. It's truly an addiction that I will never give up.

Removing software from Windows can sometimes be a a daunting task. The standard Add/Remove in the Windows control panel only does a pseudo effective job cleaning up for old shortcuts, registry entries and system files. Later a more advanced registry cleaner, or program such as Revo Uninstaller is needed.

USB flash drives are a must these days. Now that floppy drives have gone out the backdoor, a flash drive is required to transfer any kind of data between PCs. This is of course unless you do it via the web. Although security is always an issue.
